Triabunna Barracks is a beautifully redeveloped 1840’s sandstone Barracks and Stables located in Triabunna - the gateway to Maria Island.
We are located just 60 minutes' drive from Hobart Airport on Tasmania's sunny east coast, mid-way between Port Arthur and the Freycinet Peninsular.
The property features huge bedroom suites, each with its own kitchenette and luxurious bathrooms with cosy heated floors. There is a common dining room, with lounge, fireplace and honesty bar.
A homemade, continental breakfast, with Tea/Espresso Coffee is included with your stay. A fully cooked breakfast is also available. Breakfast is served in Stables dining room between 7.30 and 9.30 am. We cater for GF, V, Veg and milk allergies. Outside of normal breakfast hours we provide a wonderful homemade breakfast hamper.
We have a CCS2 Electric Vehicle Charging Point in the car park. Energy for the charger is supplied by our 12KW solar array.
Triabunna Barracks is close to the Triabunna Marina, the Maria Island Ferry, Maria Island Walks, East Coast Cruises and all local amenities.
So, there's plenty to do, from exploring the World Heritage Maria Island, visiting wineries and the local distillery to cruising Mercury Passage.
With local activities such as Hiking, Fishing, Tennis, Golf and water sports you're going to have a great time!

Car Parking : Enter the property and follow the driveway. There are 2 carparks - one space left and two spaces right, the left hand side carpark has an electric vehicle charging point.
Getting There : The address is 3 Charles Street Triabunna Tasmania, 7190.
Triabunna is just off the Tasman Highway (A3) about an hour from Hobart. Follow the signs to the Maria Island Ferry and this will take you to Charles Street Triabunna. Look for the 2 Georgian Sandstone buildings (Number 3) between the Spring Bay Hotel and the Old Triabunna Guest House.
