The Pelican and Sunset Retreats are neat two-bedroom pet friendly cottages with unimpeded views of the beautiful Lake Bonney in Barmera SA.
Head out for the day and visit all the great Riverland sites, indulge in some wine tasting, eat out at one of the many fantastic restaurants or play a round of golf at the Barmera Golf Club just over the back fence.
Then after a great day out, return to your Retreat and relax on your own private deck with a cheese platter and a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the lake. Don' forget your camera because the sunsets are just amazing.
The Retreats have a well-equipped kitchen, reverse cycle heating and cooling, a BBQ and outside dining area, a deck for enjoying the scenery and comfortable beds.

We love our pets so the Pelican Retreat is pet friendly and has an enclosed back yard to keep your fur-baby safe. Pets are allowed along the lake front where they and you will just love the walks.

Getting There : As you drive East along the lake front, the Pelican and Sunset Retreats are about 500m past the Blue Bird Cafe.
Turn right onto Draper St. and immediately left onto the dirt access road and you’ll find us on the right.

Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.

Deposit Policy

A payment equal to 20% of the full reservation fee will be taken at the time of booking. Balance payable 14 Days before arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in.
After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in.
No refund after that.

No Show Policy

No show will be charged the full reservation price.

Check-in Policy

Check in after 2pm unless otherwise pre-arranged. You will be emailed a booking confirmation after booking has been placed. You will be emailed further instructions the day before your arrival for access to your Retreat.

Other Policy

On departure the property should be in a clean state with the kitchen equipment washed and put away in cupboards.
Occupancy is not to exceed the quantity of guests booked in reservation.
The property has a strict NON SMOKING policy within the building and additional cleaning charges which may include full commercial cleaning may be charged to eradicate all smoking odours.
A few visitors are welcome to the property however it is not a party or function venue and must not be treated as such. There are close neighbours so please be considerate and keep noise levels to a reasonable level and especially into the evening.
We love our pets and love taking them away with us, so we've made our Retreats pet friendly too. The backyard is fully fenced and pet friendly; however, it is important that you clean up after your pet.
Pets are allowed inside but NOT on furniture and beds/bedding.
We reserve the right to charge additional fees if any of the above is not adhered to.
