Storm Bay Bed and Breakfast

Offering spectacular views of Parson’s bay, Storm Bay B&B is just 600m from the shores of White Beach. It offers cosy accommodations with free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access in all rooms and common areas.

Heated guest rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with Netflix. Most rooms offer views of the bay. All rooms have a private bathroom. The private bathroom comes with toiletries and a hairdryer.

The property features a large deck that is attached to the main building. From the deck, guests can enjoy views of Parson’s, Wedge and Storm Bays the Hartz mountains and the surrounding gardens. There is also a cosy communal sitting room with a fireplace.

Storm Bay B&B is a 10-minute drive from the departure point of Tasman Island Cruises, Stewart's Bay State Reserve and Port Arthur. It is a 20-minute drive from Eaglehawk Neck and the departure for Wild Oceans Cruises. Hobart International Airport is a 75-minute drive away.

Car Parking : Free onsite parking is available.
Getting There : Take the A3 from Hobart or the airport to Sorell. At Sorell, take the A9 towards Port Arthur to Taranna. Just past Taranna, turn right onto the B37 towards Nubeena. At Nubeena, continue on the B37 for approximately 2km and turn right onto White Beach Road. Storm Bay is about 1km on the left up on the hill.
Or follow the A9 to Port Arthur and continue for 10km on towards Nubeena. Take the White Beach turn off to the left, just past the IGA. Storm Bay is about 1km on the left up on the hill. The journey takes about 1.5 hours from Hobart city and 75 minutes from the airport.
If you are travelling from the East Coast/Swansea/Coles Bay area, it is strongly recommended to stay on the A3 highway to Sorell and then follow the above instructions.

Acacia Room

Deposit Policy

Storm Bay B & B reserves the right to take 20% deposit for bookings during peak periods. Generally we do not take a deposit.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel free of charge until 24 hours before arrival.
Cancellation within 24 hours may incur charge equivalent to first nights accommodation. Please contact your hosts if you need to cancel, as soon as possible. We understand Covid 19 restrictions can be implemented at very short notice and are reasonably flexible.

No Show Policy

In case of no show , first nights accommodation will be charged.

Child Policy

ONLY Children over age of 12, using existing bedding, are welcome. THIS IS AN ADULTS ONLY PROPERTY.
There is no capacity for extra beds in room.

Check-in Policy

Check-In is available after 3pm, should you require an earlier check in, please contact your hosts to see if your room is available.
Latest check in time is 8pm, if you need a later check in time, please make arrangements with your hosts.
If you are arriving after 6pm it is advisable to have dinner prior to check in as few eateries are open past 7.30pm.
