Set in Kalgan, 15 km from Albany town centre, Kalgan River Chalets and Caravan Park offers you a wide range of accommodation options to suit all of your comfort and budget requirements.

We have powered and unpowered sites, perfect for caravans, motorhomes, and all types of camping. Our camp grounds are pet friendly.

After a day of hiking, tennis, golfing, kayaking or fishing, guests can relax in the garden, by the river or in the shared camp kitchen.

Relax and enjoy a fully self-contained 1, 2 or 3 bedroom Chalet.
All of our Chalets are equipped with lounge, flat-screen TV, DVD player, kitchen/dining and a private bathroom with free welcome toiletries. You'll find a microwave, fridge, oven, kettle, toaster and basic cooking kitchen ware for your needs.

We also offer Budget style cabins with private ensuite or a standard budget style room, that is comfortable and equipped with bed and basic kitchen facilities.

We are a Pet friendly park. All pets are required to be declared when booking. We accept 2 maximum per site. Please note, they are not permitted in our Cabins, Chalets, Camp Kitchens or Bathrooms. Please ensure they are tethered and on a lead at all times. Pets are not to wander the park freely and are the responsibility of the owner.

The nearest airport is Albany Airport, 20 km from the park.

Car Parking : Free onsite parking is available. 1 car per site. Visitors and additional vehicles can be parked in our overflow area, next to the Tennis court. Please ask our friendly staff for directions.

Opposite the Great Southern Grammar School, Our entrance is a bricked driveway displaying the sign- Kalgan River Chalets and Caravan Park.

Drive approximately 600m to our Office at the top of the driveway.

Please be mindful of the Kangaroos alongside the road on your way in.

Barista Style Fresh Bean Coffee & Hot Chocolate espresso machine. Gas Pizza oven, Smokers/Weber/BBQ's in Camp kitchen. Shop sells bait, groceries, ice, wood. River fishing, boating, kayaking, 9 hole golf course, tennis courts all here at the park.

A valid credit card is required for the booking as a security for the duration of your stay.
In the event a valid credit card has not been provided a minimum bond fee of $200 cash will be held on arrival .
Any damages caused during the stay will be charged against that card, or the amount equivalent to the damage will be kept.
Park Management reserves the right to relocate sites and Chalets or cancel any booking at its discretion.

Deposits and full payments:
A 30% deposit of your full booking payment is required at the time of reservation.
• Off Peak periods - Final balance is due on arrival
• Christmas , Easter, School Holiday and Public Holidays/Long weekends - Final balance is required and will be charged against card held on booking 14 days prior to arrival

Cancellations off peak periods

• Cancellations received outside 14 days of arrival can be credited to a future booking or refunded, without any penalties.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a $50 administration fee.

Cancellations peak periods– Christmas, Easter, School Holidays and Public Holiday or Long weekends

• Cancellation made before the designated full payment date (14 days prior to arrival) can be credited to a future booking or refunded of all monies paid, less a $50 administration fee.

• Cancellations made after the designated full payment date (14 days prior to arrival) surrender all monies paid.

No credit or refund will be available for early departures, no shows or cancellations once arrived.

Children of any age are welcome. Children age 2 and under are free.
Bed/ Cots in Chalets:
Unfortunately we do not provide rollaway/extra beds or Cots. However there is ample room for you to bring your own if needed.

Late check-ins to be confirmed in advance where possible. If the office is unattended a mobile number will be available on the office door. Please call and and we will arrange to meet you shortly thereafter.

Chalets / Cabins / Rooms - from 2:00pm.

Campsites - from 11:30am.

Management reserves the right to refuse a booking at any time from any person reasonably believed to: - not be the person named on the booking or the credit card. – who may cause damage to the property of the park or other guests - may exhibit socially unacceptable disruptive behavior - be younger than 18 years old unaccompanied by an adult.
No refund will be given and charges will apply for damages caused.
