Country Plaza Queanbeyan

This 4 star property is located on the NSW side of Canberra and is only a 15 minute drive to the Parliamentary Triangle. It has 22 well appointed rooms with an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), licensed restaurant (in-house guests only), mini gym, guest laundry, a BBQ and a designated smoking area.

Each room at the Country Plaza Queanbeyan includes an LCD television, Wireless & Usb charging clock with dimmable led screen for night time, work desk, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, a coffee maker, access to wireless internet and a full minibar. All rooms have a modern bathroom with shower, hairdryer and bathrobes.

The restaurant provides evening meals from Mondays through to Thursdays (excluding public holidays) between 6pm and 8pm and also provides room service dining. Breakfast is available 7 days a week with room service also available . Please note Restaurant opens 8am for weekend service. There may be times when the restaurant is closed due to annual leave or cleaning because of close contacts due to Covid-19, so please check in advance if you are considering an evening meal.

After Hours : To save you rushing your trip we have a self check in kiosk located near reception entrance. You must contact the property to arrange a late check in as you need to have at least the first night fully paid and you will need instructions to use the kiosk.
Car Parking : Free private parking is possible on site and is non allocated.
EV charging station now available.
Please note that there are times when parking may be limited and so it is subject to availability.
Getting There : From Canberra - 20 minute drive, Drive along Canberra Avenue. When you come into Queanbeyan and when you see HMAS Harman on your Right, Merge left on Norse Road. Follow around go over railway bridge, turn left at first roundabout which is Uriarra Road. You will see the hotel 50 meters on your left hand side. From Batemans Bay, Coming down the hill into Queanbeyan on Kings Highway, go through the first large roundabout (Redrooster) go through the second roundabout (Hungry Jacks) over the bridge crossing the river. Second set of traffic lights turn right onto Lowe Street, straight through the roundabout following the road around to the right until the intersection turning left onto Crawford st. Continue up the hill following the road round to the left which turns into Uriarra Road. Keep going and you will see the motel on your right approx 700 meters.

Dining

DINNER:
The Copper Grill Restaurant is open for evening meals from Monday to Thursday evenings from 6pm until 8pm. Room service dining is also available during those days and hours. The Restaurant is usually closed from mid December until late January for annual leave.

BREAKFAST:
Breakfast is available 7 days a week from 7.30am until 9am Monday to friday and from 8am Weekends, room service is also available during those times.

Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

Deposit
The full amount of your reservation will be charged once the free cancellation period has expired, but can be charged a prepayment or full payment of the total price to confirm your booking prior to arrival.

You will be required to provide photo I.D and the credit card used for payment/guarantee upon arrival and you need to ensure that funds are available at the time of payment. All bookings require a $150 refundable security bond.

Deposit Policy

Cash Deposit Policy
Please note that a security deposit is required upon check-in, as well as photo-identification. The deposit will be to the value of the total room rate payable, plus $150. The security deposit is refundable upon departure providing there is no outstanding amount owed.

Please note that a merchant service fee will be applied to credit card payments.

Credit Card Pre-authorisation
Please note that a security deposit is required upon check-in for all bookings. The deposit will be to the value of the total room rate payable, plus $150 security bond. After settlement of your bill, any remaining funds should be returned to your account up to 10 working days, depending on your credit card and individual bank policy.

Cancellation Policy

NO CANCELLATION WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ARRIVAL DATE - FULL CHARGES APPLY (NO REFUND).

CANCELLATION OUTSIDE OF THE 24 HOURS WILL INCUR A $15 ADMINISTRATION FEE PER BOOKING (NON-NEGOTIABLE).

No Show Policy

The full amount of the booking will be charged in the event of your failure to arrive.

Child Policy

There is no capacity for extra beds in the room as we do not provide rollaway beds into any of our rooms. Children over the age of 6 years old will be charged for the use of existing bedding.

Check-in Policy

Check-in starts after 2 PM unless you have selected an early check-in option during the booking process. We ask that you respect our check in time as we are a family owned and operated property where all staff are involved in cleaning rooms and so reception does not open until 2pm.

Other Policy

PETS, other than Guide Dogs, are strictly forbidden from being on the premises and you will be asked to leave if pets are seen anywhere on the property.

SMOKING is strictly forbidden in all areas of the property other than the designated smoking area located within the property. We respectfully ask that the rights of enjoyment of our facilities are adhered to.
