Bay and Basin Boutique Motel is central to all the South Coast has to offer including Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Ulladulla which are all the same distance away.

There are many local events including regular shows at the Country Club, triathlons, bike tours, fishing and golf competitions. We are located centrally and a firm favorite for visitors joining in on the fun and travelers from across the globe.

We are a popular second home to many travelling for work and also guests visiting family and friends.

The South Coast is a spectacular wedding destination. The Woods, Worrowing Estate and many other venues are only minutes away. Please ask about our special offer if you are attending a wedding. Ask us about accommodating larger groups for events and gatherings.

Bay & Basin is a Boutique Motel of eight individually styled rooms with ensuite bathrooms and one larger one bedroom apartment.

Centrally located to an array of takeaway and cafes we are also situated across the road from the St Georges Basin Country Club with tennis, lawn bowls and golf facilities.

Water surrounds and a short stroll will bring you to the edge of the tranquil St Georges Basin and minutes away from the beautiful shores and pristine waters of Jervis Bay, Hyams Beach famous white sands and another 99+ other beaches to discover.

Our bay sunsets are famous.
Wildlife and kangaroos abound. Make sure your camera is ready as the bay walk takes you along the waters edge past parks and views that will make you want to return again and again.

Approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney and 2.45 hours from Canberra.

One Bedroom Apartment With Views

This large suite is light and airy with Plantation Shuttered windows overlooking the tree tops.

The view is prime to see local kangaroos grazing on the field early and at sunset in the evening.

This suite is perfect for families and couples who appreciate being able to stretch out and also have the privacy of a separate bedroom.

The separate queen room offers a second television and large built in robes great for an extended stay.

A sofa bed is included in the family room area along with a dining table and four chairs.

A separate single bed can be added by request rather than use the sofa bed.

Both the bedroom and living include a flat-screen TV.

The private bathroom includes a double size shower and complimentary toiletries.

The kitchenette includes sink, full size fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee and tea station and a range of kitchenware.

Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges.

Bookings made via third-party booking sites (booking.com & expedia) are
subject to the terms and conditions of those sites.

Bookings are non-refundable.

Cancellations of non-refundable bookings are strictly non-refundable but may be transferrable to another date with no less than 7 days notice.

Cancellations within 30 days of arrival forfeit the entire booking fee.

Cancellations apply to any and all circumstances including Covid-19, severe
weather events and any other conditions/events/factors that is outside the
control of the Bay and Basin Boutique Hotel.

Deposit Policy

You will be charged a prepayment of the total price either when booking or prior to arrival.
Bookings are only valid and confirmed once payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that cancellation is unavoidable notice must be made within 30 days prior to the arrival date of the booking or forfeit of monies paid or invoiced for the entire stay may result.
A minimum of one night will be charged upon cancellation of all other bookings.
All cancellation and amendment requests need to be in writing via e-mail and no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date.

No Show Policy

All bookings are non refundable.

Child Policy

All children are welcome.

Check in time starts at 2 PM.

If travelling from overseas please ensure you have an Australian SIM card for your mobile phone or have arranged how best to communicate with us when arriving.

Please call or email ahead of checking in if you need assistance.

Other Policy

We will consider pet stays with discussion. Please call to prior to booking.

Rooms are serviced on request except on public holidays.

We do not accept bookings for any party groups such as Bucks/Hens/Schoolies celebrations.

Portable speakers or any similar noisy audio devices are not allowed in rooms or onsite to ensure comfort for all guests.

Late check in may be possible with prior arrangement. A fee will apply.

Electric vehicle charging is not permitted, unauthorized charging will incur a fee of $100.
Electric Vehicles can be charged across the road the St Georges Basin Country Club.

We trust our guests to be respectful of each other while staying.
