Getting There :
Travelling by car from Melbourne Geelong is just over an hour's drive from Melbourne (96.3 km) via M1. Travel via the Princes Highway over the West Gate Bridge into the city of Geelong. From here continue on Bellarine Hwy/B110. Air services Avalon Airport is conveniently located between Melbourne and Geelong and operates services by most airlines from most Australian cities. Other transport options V/Line runs frequent train services from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Geelong. V/Line coach services operate from Melbourne to Geelong Railway Station. Ferry services operate between Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula and Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula as well as Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula and Docklands in Melbourne.
Dining :
A 2 minute drive will take you into the main street of Ocean Grove with dozens of cafes and restaurants to choose from. A short 5 minute drive across the bridge into Barwon Heads will again offer you a variety of restaurants and the Barwon Heads hotel for a meal.
