The Amaroo Motel offers 4-star Tumut accommodation and is centrally located at 55 Capper Street and within walking distance to Tumut's shops, restaurants, clubs, pubs and cafes.

We have 29 ground floor units including spacious Executive King Suites, Executive Queen and Twin suites, Standard Queen and Twin rooms as well as an Executive Two Bedroom Family suite. Each room has access to free strong WiFi, is air-conditioned and offers a flat-screen TV and ironing facilities and free on-site parking at your door.

All executive rooms have been refurbished and offer a modern bathroom, pure wool carpets and luxury triple sheeting.

From Melbourne, exit the Hume highway towards Tumut and travel 30 kms to Tumut. From Sydney, exit the Hume highway at Gundagai towards Tumut and travel 30kms to Tumut.

Booking Policy

Bookings can be made by phoning (02) 6947 7200 or email info@amaroomotel.com. Alternatively bookings can be made direct on our website www.amaroomotel.com.

Cancellation Policy

Amaroo Motel operates on a 24 hour cancellation policy. Failure to notify reception of your non arrival 24 hours before your expected arrival date will incur the first night's charge. Bookings will only be refunded at the discretion of management.

Checkin Policy

Check-in is at Reception at the Amaroo Motel after 2pm.

Child Policy

Cot hire is $20 per night.

Deposit Policy

To finalise your booking we require a credit card number, and authorisation. This will secure your booking.

No-show Policy

A "No Show" will incur the first night's accommodation charge. Bookings will only be refunded at the discretion of management.

Other Policy

Smoking in your room will incur a $500 cleaning charge. Returned items will incur a $20 service charge plus postage costs. Make-up, self tanner and hair dye left on the towels will incur the purchase price of replacement as these items stain.
