At the very heart of Victoria's magnificent Macedon Ranges and just 70 kilometers from Melbourne, lies Lancefield, a small, peaceful, rural town set amongst vast, rolling hills.

This is the home of The Lancefield Guest House, a magnificent and recently refurbished Victorian mansion, built in 1890, originally, as The Commercial Hotel - a popular meeting place for the locals, not only providing beverages, but also meals and accommodation.

Although Lancefield's rich agricultural and pastoral history continues, it now shares it's attraction with a growing community of artists, writers, photographers and film makers. The town now boasts several new art galleries, restaurants, many wineries and, once a month, the now famous Lancefield Farmers Market which is held in the main street, providing a wide variety of locally sourced produce.

To cater for this reborn popularity in the region, your hosts, Kate and Peter Chiller, began the restoration and refurbishment of The Lancefield Guest House with a plan to make it the best value Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the area.

The guest house is conveniently located just five minutes from town and comprises of sixteen guestrooms. Perfect for romantic getaways, group gatherings/conferences and weddings.

Booking Policy

No Pets allowed inside premises. No smoking inside premises. Person making the booking must be 18 years of age or above.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 7 days of booking arrival date incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with more than 7 days notice incur an administration charge of 30% of total booking fee. We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Checkin Policy

Photo ID is required. Person check-in must be 18 years of age or above. Unless other arrangements have been made with management check in time is 12 noon.

Child Policy

Child age 13 and above is considered adult for cost purposes.

Deposit Policy

Unless arranged with management, all accommodation must be paid on or before arrival as directed at time of booking.

No-show Policy

NO REFUND. Incur a 100% fee.
