Getting There :
Heading north from Cairns or Port Douglas follow the Captain Cook Highway through the township of Mossman. 25 kms north of Mossman is Cape Tribulation rd to the right signposted to Daintree River and Cape Tribulation. Turn right here until you come to the Daintree river then cross the river on the Daintree river car ferry, then travel for 21 kms (20 minutes) north on Cape Tribulation rd until you reach Thornton Beach. Look out for Thorntons Cafe on the right hand side, Thornton Beach Bungalows are opposite, on the left.
Dining :
Being located in the centre of the Daintree coast we are close to all of the cafe's and restaurants the area has to offer. Each bungalow also has cutlery and utensils and their own private bbq area for self cooking. The big bungalow has a full kitchen
